THE KUEST STORY

In the summer of 2001, Tom & Kathy Toney were Children’s Pastors at a mid-size church near Oklahoma City.   Like so many student leaders, they found themselves in need of volunteers to help support the ministry.

One day in prayer, Pastor Tom received some unconventional direction for solving the situation: “Empower the kids.”

This simple instruction launched a life-long pursuit that has become KUEST Student Leadership.  Today, KUEST is an international network of churches that develop students in leadership and character and engage them in weekly service in ministry.

    Pastors Tom & Kathy Toney began the KUEST Movement. Their vision to impact the next generation continues today and they are the masterminds behind the curriculum and system available to you.

    Victoria is here to make the journey with you. You’ll find her on phone calls, Zoom meetings, and posting on the Network. Whatever you need, reach out- she’s got your back.

    You’ll see Sydney on socials, being a rockstar host at KUEST events, and on Zoom calls. Sydney comes with a rich background in psychology, design, and photography, and has an upbeat can-do attitude to boot.

FAQs

Is KUEST a Sunday School Curriculum?

KUEST is not a general group Sunday School curriculum, rather, KUEST is designed to disciple a core group of students that serve and lead in every aspect of ministry.  Through the KUEST curriculum and the processes we have developed, you will empower young students, beginning in the third grade to serve as your go-to team.  The will learn character and leadership and put that training to work as a part of your weekly service teams.

What does my KUEST Coach Membership Include?

When it comes to the effectiveness of the KUEST System, KUEST Coaches are the Secret Sauce. For that reason, we are serious about equipping every coach with the tools they need to lead their students with strength, continue their development as a coach, and connect with others who share their passion.  Here’s what your membership includes: Weekly meetings with the KUEST Team as you get started, worksheets and videos to help you get your program set up, monthly Zoom coaching calls, podcasts and articles on topics pertinent to your work with students, access to other KUEST coaches across the world, access to 1-1 calls with our team, and exclusive KUEST-Coach events.

What does my KUEST Student Membership Include?

As a KUEST Student, you will enjoy weekly training in character and leadership development and engagement in service teams. You will gain access to an exclusive community of students around the world who share your desire for relationship, pursuit, and apprenticeship.
